Crossing the 10KM finish line...took me 1:20:07 to finish.

Cooldown after the race, waiting for the raffle draw to start...
All in all, it was a good race. Frequent running at Ang Mo Kio west garden paid off (with Mama in tow). Also, the slopes at west garden really helped a lot in conditioning my stamina, running on a relatively flat surface was very much doable, I was able to run the entire length without pausing to catch my breath. I just had to slow down to grab water at water stations along the way. Thankfully, the veterans (read:50 years old and above) were classified in a different race category otherwise I have to suffer the humiliation of being overtaken by people a lot older than I am. Though a lady every now and then just simply overtook me.
Moving forward, I'm planning to buy a bike and start training for a 42km endurance race! I'm setting my goal on a mini triathlon. A full triathlon is way beyond my capabilities for now.
